April 11, 2014 - PRLog -- April 10, 2014- To celebrate the release of First Ladies Club: Rocks, Rings and Resurrections, Mathews will have her book signing at Lenox Cupcakes on Saturday, April 19th.  Guests will enjoy light refreshments, giveaways and a show.  Mathews has brought in a cast to act out various scenes from the book.  Produced by the talented staff of Eventista Productions and Busy Bee Consulting, each guest is guaranteed to have an unforgettable night.

About the book:  “Men and Women of the church are still men and women” a phrase Mathews recites when talking about the novel.  “First Ladies Club:  Rocks, Rings and Resurrections”, the sequel to a riveting story of four First Ladies in ministry, details the lives of four women who are a part of a support organization called, “Deborah’s Daughters.”  The organization was created to inspire and help other Pastor’s wives. The only problem is that two of the ladies, by no fault of their own, are now husbandless and without ministries to Co- Pastor.  Deborah’s Daughters are faced with the challenge of whether or not to keep the women active in the organization or asking them to leave. The story will excite readers and draw them into each character’s story line.   At the end of the prequel, “First Ladies Club:  When the Church Hats Come Off”, readers were left on the edge of their seats as a proposal was given to Natasha.  Fresh from mourning her late husband, she finds the man that she least expected on his knees asking her for her hand in marriage.  The love triangle between one of the lead characters, Natasha and her deceased husband’s armor bearer ensues into the pages of “First Ladies Club: Rocks, Rings and Resurrections.”  Shenae, the matriarch of the group, has lost her husband to the walls of the penitentiary  and his bad choices.  Will this divorcee find love in the last place that a First Lady would expect to find it….the Internet?  Lynette overcame the struggles of her husband’s infidelity from, “When the Church Hats Come Off” only to now find herself potentially in a paternity battle with her husband’s former mistress.  Lastly we have Amauri, a lovable character that has a devoted husband, Bishop Paden, and two beautiful children after dealing with fertility issues and low self-esteem.  A sudden move has caused her home to be shaken and her husband’s secretive behavior only adds to her discomfort.  Will a strange encounter at their going away party with a woman from his past be the last unraveled thread in their perfectly seamed marriage?

The book signing for "First Ladies Club:  Rocks, Rings and Resurrections" will begin at 7pm on Saturday, April 19th at Lenox Cupcakes, located at 5399 Peachtree Road Atlanta, GA 30341.
