CATM New York is proud to announce the selection of Dirk Janssens for ART MONACO 2014

NEW YORK - April 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Janssens will be debuting the first of a series of cast bronze works April 24th at the highly regarded Art Monaco International Art Festival at the Grimaldi Forum. He has been chosen by Irreversible Magazine to have his work anchor their participation in the festival in what is now their 5th year.

Janssens' latest work transcends any simple categorization as it defies definition and placement. The casting of an original painting into its solid bronze counterpart is in itself a unique interpretation of the written word. Janssens' approach delves deep within not only the act of writing and representation, but in its physical translation to expressively determined strokes. The words themselves transcend their own immediacy and become part of a visual language not often seen in the literary.

His work continues in the same successful vein as his Wonderland series, spreading the inspirational, one verse at a time. Janssens successfully strives forward to marry the optimistic with his own joie de vivre.
