Clary Sage College Fashion Design Students go to Dallas Career Day

Tulsa, Okla., (April 8, 2014) – Fashion Design Students from Clary Sage College (CSC) will be attending the Fashion Group International’s 46^th Annual Dallas Career Day, April 11, 2014 at the World Trade Center in Dallas, TX.

According to their website, Dallas Career Day “was conceived as a way to provide a philanthropic, educational outreach program for college and university students seeking careers in the fashion and lifestyle industries.”

Event attendees are able to enter custom designed garments for an opportunity to win a wide variety of scholarships, internships and jobs.  Including, Best of Sewing Award, The Paris American Academy “Couture Award” and the Musselman Award.

CSC’s Fashion Design program has 18 students attending and eight garments entered into the competitions. The competitions include Activewear Design, Bridal Design, Cotton Casual Design, Career Apparel Design, Cocktail Design, DMC Little Red Dress Design, and Theatre/Artwear Design.

Fashion Design colleges from over 40 schools and across 12 states attend this event.
