Founded by a melanoma survivor, SummerSkin helps increase awareness of the importance of sun protection, providing Shine shoppers with an opportunity to be sun smart without sacrificing fashion. All proceeds help support vital SCCA Patient and Family programs.

Summer was diagnosed with melanoma in her mid-20s and found that the only sun-protective clothing available at the time was activewear or chemical-infused clothing that didn’t really match her style or everyday needs.  So she created SummerSkin - the first line of its kind to specifically focus on fashionable sun-protective UPF clothing for everyday wear.  Made in the USA, SummerSkin’s signature products are crafted out of luxurious high-end imported fabrics that naturally protect the skin from the sun’s harmful rays, while still allowing for maximum comfort, style, and breathability.
