George Eliopulos Joins MX Mining Advisory Board

CHEYENNE, Wyo. - April 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Following the recent appointment of Mr. Herb Duerr to the advisory board, MX Mining are pleased to announce that he will be joined by George Eliopulos.  Mr. Eliopulos is a geologist with 30 years of experience and a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines with a degree in geological engineering. He also earned a masters degree in geological engineering from the University of Arizona before embarking on his career as an exploration geologist. His career began with a position as a mine geologist at the Homestake gold mine in South Dakota. This mine was the oldest, largest and deepest mine in the Western Hemisphere before it closed in 2001.

“George’s experience in advancing projects from initial discovery through to feasibility for several Nevada ore bodies will be invaluable to MX Mining’s development and business plan” said an MX spokesperson.

Following work at the Homestake mine, Mr. Eliopulos took a position at Texasgulf, Inc. as a geologist and participated in the early exploration of the Cripple Creek gold district in Colorado before moving on to a position with Tenneco Minerals Corporation. At Tenneco he participated in and was responsible for the supervision of programs leading to the development of the Illipah gold mine in White Pine County, Nevada, the Borealis gold mine in Mineral County, Nevada, and the Manhattan gold mine in Nye County, Nevada. In 1994, George acted as consulting geologist for Barrick Bullfrog, Inc., where he was responsible for deep exploration drilling beneath the Bullfrog gold mine which produced over 2.0 million ounces of gold. Since 1990, George has consulted for numerous mining and exploration companies and has managed over 50 mining properties located in Nevada, Utah, California and Montana. George holds QP certification under Canadian Instrument 43-101, is a Certified Professional Geologist, CPG-11010, a member of the American Institute of Professional Geologists, the Society of Economic Geologists and the Geologic Society of Nevada.
