PARIS - April 8, 2014 - PRLog -- April 8, 2014 – Teleroute, the European freight exchange, is strengthening its links with the 3rd largest transport company in France in terms of general goods (both truckloads and groupage). The Malherbe group, which has grown steadily for over 30 years, will continue to post its freight offers exclusively on the Teleroute freight exchange until 2016.

This agreement also allows Malherbe to connect its 20 agencies in France and Luxembourg on the freight exchange. With 1,300 employees, a network of over 200 contracted partners and 3,000 customers, Malherbe is now positioned as a leader in transport flow management both through its own fleet of over 750 vehicles as well as through transport commissioning. Malherbe posts nearly 500,000 freight offers per year on the freight exchange, exclusively on Teleroute.

"Malherbe is a fast growing business. Teleroute is pleased to support the growth of a company that is expanding thanks to a large network in France, and to contribute to their national and international development. Our mission is to help our customers to be more competitive," said Edouard Sakakini, Regional Sales Director for France and Southern Europe, Teleroute.

Malherbe’s decision to extend its exclusive partnership with Teleroute was driven by its complete satisfaction with the services provided by the freight exchange, in particular the security functionalities. Given the volume of offers submitted by Malherbe, freight security is a critical selection criterion for the Normandy, France based carrier.

"Teleroute offers a service that corresponds to our expectations and is perfectly adapted to the needs of our group, which is essential to drive forward our development," concludes Mr Sébastien Peron, Director of Transport Operations at Malherbe.
