In 1980, Dan was diagnosed with Osteogenic Sarcoma in his right leg and underwent many (unsuccessful)
Dan understands these issues because he has lived them. He understands what you’re going through because he’s been there… the multiple surgeries, the life-altering decisions, and the transitional road back to a normal and productive life. Each day, he taps into that experience to help encourage and rebuild the lives of his patients.
Dan Bastian and the team at Progressive are subject matter experts /living limb loss and dedicated to helping others. Dan is a skier, water skier, golfer, boater, dad, business owner, survived a rare childhood cancer - all these things make him a great prosthetic practitioner.
Dan has a wonderful team assembled including, Sal Martella. Sal is the President and co-founder of Progressive O&P, Inc. since its incorporation in 1999. Sal is the senior practitioner at Progressive O&P and his dedication to his patients is unparalleled.
The addition of a social worker to the team is another unique service that Progressive offers to their patients to assist them with the challenges that they face. Progressive has a unique understanding of all the obstacles a person faces with limb loss and has many resources in place to help them along the journey.
