ATLANTA - April 7, 2014 - PRLog -- The Rainmaker Group (http://www.letitrain.com/), a world leader in automated forecasting and profit optimization software and services for the Gaming & Hospitality industry, today announced that Little River Casino Resort will implement its GuestREV®profit optimization system (http://www.letitrain.com/gaming-and-hospitality-product-suite/solutions/guestrev/) in the property’s latest initiative to further strengthen its operational excellence.  Rainmaker and the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, which owns and operates the popular Michigan-based resort, finalized the agreement in mid-December.

Established in the summer of 1999 with 600 slot machines, Little River Casino Resort has since expanded on multiple occasions and now has over 23,000 square feet of space, which includes a beautiful 292-room luxury hotel, a 1,700-seat event center, and more than 1,600 slots and table games.

“Our goal is to remain the best destination resort in Michigan,” said Wendell Long, General Manager, Little River Casino Resort. “We use the term ‘best’ in reference to ‘entertainment exceptionalism’ and ‘operational excellence.’  Our investment in GuestREV is rooted in the latter, with the objective of driving sustained incremental revenue by ensuring rooms are always available for our most valuable guests.”

Serving more than 150 properties worldwide, Rainmaker software provides customers a strategic advantage in achieving the highest profitability from their assets.  In its latest Vendor Landscape: Revenue Management Systems report, Info-Tech Research Group, Inc., a global leader in providing IT research and advice, listed GuestREV as the 2013 Trend Setter Award recipient, calling it“the perfect system for cutting-edge casino-hotels looking to make decisions based on total guest value.”

The report listed nine advanced features as today’s market differentiators for assessing the strength and value of a revenue management system.  Of the seven organizations whose revenue management systems were evaluated, only Rainmaker’s GuestREV system received a top score for all nine advanced features.  Market differentiating features assessed included channel management, competitive rate modeling, controls, demand forecasting, events and promotions, groups, multi-property, non-room revenue and reporting.

“We’re extremely proud to have earned the confidence and trust of the management of Little River Casino Resort and we look forward to demonstrating very quickly why GuestREV is now viewed as the go-to solution in the gaming-hospitality industry,” said John Wallace, Rainmaker President, Gaming/Hospitality.
