Coco de Mama takes over Italian Food Blogs with new Videos of Authentic Italian Recipes

LOS ANGELES - April 7, 2014 - PRLog -- The popular blog www.cocodemama.com chronicles Francesco Romano’s adventures bringing Authentic Italian recipes from his grandmother’s and mother’s kitchen to your table. Coco de mama means “mama’s boy” in Italian. While growing up in Italy, Francesco spent hours in the kitchen watching his grandmother, Nona Sara, and Mama Francesca make every meal from scratch and with love.

    As he grew he helped as much as he was allowed, storing the “chef” knowledge he accumulated to use after moving to America. He searched for restaurants serving the authentic Italian food he remembered but had difficulty finding places matching his memories and standards. He began cooking for himself and serving the results to friends who were beyond impressed with the simple, authentic meals he prepared for them.

    This success inspired Francesco to start his Coco de Mama blog – Mama’s recipes imported from Italy. Visitors to www.cocodemama.com will find mouth-watering photos of authentic Italian dishes accompanied by Francesco’s entertaining stories about what he decided to cook that day. There are complete, easy-to-follow printed recipes, preparation instructions and a photo of how the finished dish should look.

     There is a Video Recipe section which clearly illustrates key steps in the recipe preparation. The videos on Coco de Mama are a step above those seen in many cooking demonstrations, which often show more of the cook than the food being prepared. The shots are all close-ups focusing on the ingredients, and is a true “how to” guide to prepare the recipes.

     By overwhelming demand, Francesco has expanded the blog by introducing prepared food in the “Homemade to Order (http://cocodemama.com/biz/?product=lasagna-bolognese-coco...)” section. He has started with his popular authentic Lasagna Bolognese, which is handmade with the freshest ingredients and is available for sale in the Los Angeles area.
