Few TV shows delivered the fun, excitment and sex appeal (thank you Ms. Strahovski!) that Chuck did.

(Yeah, the final episode was lame but there may be good news).

New video says that a Chuck Movie is in the works!

It's just in time too because I, for one, was going through Nerd Herd withdrawal. I missed my weekly Buy More fix.

Zachary Levi, as Chuck Bartowski, and the lovely Yvonne Strahovski, as the sexy Sarah Walker, headed a unique cast of characters.

Chuck, created by Chris Fedak and Josh Schwartz, was a welcomed relief from the raunchy and tasteless fare that most networks were/are offering viewers.

The show was produced by College Hill Pictures, Fake Empire Productions, Wonderland Sound and Vision, and Warner Bros. Television.

Thoughts of a new Chuck movie bring to mind the recent Kickstarter campaign that lead to the theatrical release of Veronica Mars.

There is still some debate as to whether Veronica Mars was a "success" but I believe there are enough Chuck fans that it could trump the Veronica Mars box office numbers.

I think we had become so invested in the Chuck and Sarah relationship over the 5 seasons that the finale was unsatisfying. But it may be the perfect ending to setup a "recovering Sarah's memory" movie reboot.

RECAP:

Here's where we left our characters in the last episode:

- Chuck was heart-broken about Sarah's memory lost and decision to leave.

- Casey was in the process of leaving his daughter (and Grimes) to hook up again with Gertrude Verbanski (under the guise of a mission).

- Awesome, Ellie, and baby Clara were leaving for better jobs, and a change of scenery, in Chicago.

- Jeff and Lester (Jeffster) were getting ready to go on tour in Germany after being discovered while extending a concert to save General Beckman's life.

- Morgan and Alex were moving in together and have full reign of the house (since Casey is gone).

- Big Mike was left to carry on at the Buy More.

Certainly enough story fodder there to get a movie reboot going.

Alas, only time will tell if indeed we will see Chuck grace the big screen. I just hope that they can keep the charm and innocent that the TV series maintained.
