PRLog - Apr. 6, 2014 - CULIACAN, SINALOA.- Tijuana Zonkeys took out the broom and swept the series against Culiacan Caballeros, by beating the local team 94-89 in a fun match played as part of the fourth round of the Basketball Circuit of the Pacific Coast (Cibacopa in Spanish).

The team is now 4-0 on the league and in third place in the standings with 2 games less than its rivals.
Arim Solares lead the scoreboard with 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists; while Trayvon Lathan was close with 22, and Marcus Morrison scored 16 units.
For the local side Benjamin Pucket got 25 points, while Michel Lizarraga did his thing with 19.
Now the team will continue with its road trip, by travelling to Navolato where Zonkeys will take on the Garra Canera on Tuesday, April 8th, and Wednesday, 9th.
Tijuana Zonkeys will have its opening home series on Saturday, April 12th, at the basketball court of the Auditorio Municipal in Tijuana against current Cibacopa champions, Hermosillo Rayos. Tickets will be on sale starting on Monday at the official Zonkeys Store in the lobby of the auditorium.
