GREENSBORO, N.C. - April 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Internationally recognized body language and nonverbal communication expert Blanca Cobb was a featured speaker for the Fourth Annual Women's Leadership Summit held Friday, April 4 at Grandover Resort and Conference Center in Greensboro, NC.

The daylong leadership and professional development conference hosted by the Junior League of Greensboro and headlined by Jenna Bush Hager, selected Cobb to be on the slate of inspiring thought-leaders to impact the lives of the hundreds of women who were in attendance.

“Someone’s perception of you becomes their reality whether it’s true or not,” explained Cobb to the summit attendees. “How can you become a leader if you don’t treat yourself as a leader?” The presentation brought the women to laughter as well as tears as Cobb shared personal, life experiences and how she navigated the waters of those challenges with examples they could use in their own lives.

Fun, interactive role-plays added a dynamic twist to help attendees understand how to communicate better verbally and nonverbally through everyday interactions — from the moment they step behind the wheel of their car to relating to co-workers at the water cooler or in the boardroom.

“There is a turning point when women realize they are worthy. I hope today was that day for many of these dynamic women,” said Cobb.
