Although the subject of time travel is a favorite in the alternative information world, which is rife with conspiracies and alleged whistle blowers, don't expect Marshall to join the fray for a very important reason, which he brought up several months ago on the Kevin Cook Show - when you're doing it for real, you don't need "stories" to back you up.
"My research and inventions are part of the verifiable world of advanced concept science and technology - not crank theories like you here from so many people appearing on late night talk radio", Marshall stated from on-location where he is currently filming a documentary about his work. The hook for audiences that may like that kind of material is simple - finally they can consider something that is true, out in the open and happening for real and from someone who is fast becoming recognized as the world's number one expert in the field.
"I find it funny how many people continue to talk about Ron Mallett as if he's still relevent. Not only did he fail to raise the money to build his machine, most physicists don't believe that it will work even if he had the money. Furthermore, I know a totally different set of reasons why it won't work and I'm writing a paper on it that I intend to submit to be published in a peer reviewed journal. The other thing is that he contradicts himself repeatedly when speaking about pardoxes and then, based on that, he wants regulation of time travel. In my report for Congress on time travel, I am clear, succint and go into clarifications and detail that not only surpass the knowledge of Mallett but are on a level that is unprecedented, and that's why I wrote it. However, because of what Mallett is advocating and his clear lack of understanding how time travel actually works, I am including a special section in my book version of the report, so that the public will see, once and for all, why Ronald Mallett is far from being any kind of expert on the subject of time travel. His erroneous statements about time travel and its alleged dangers are exactly the kinds of issues as to why I wrote Paradox Lost for Congress in the first place - so that they would know better than to believe the kind of baseless speculations that Mallett is now trying to turn into a public policy position. The kind of talk he's doing would be a sure way of getting time travel research banned so that only the government could engage in it - creating eactly the situation that conspiracy theorists claim is going on right now. In fact, I now believe that that is one reason Mallett failed to get the funding he wanted out of the National Science Foundation - if it's so dangerous, then why fund it at all? So that just goes to show how brilliant Mallett really is. He's sabatoging himself and anyone else in the field, while I'm the one trying to make sure that there is no panic in that direction. He has proved, by his statements over at least the last seven years, that he is wholly unqualified to offer up any expert opinion on the subject".
Marshall continued to point out, that all one has to do to prove his point is go to Youtube and listen to any random interview with Mallett for as many years as you can find - one for each year, and Mallett appears to be saying the same thing, over and over again, with no new research to report, no new discoveries, just the same old story and one that has been a failure at that. Conversely, Marshall has had a number of major breakthroughs, both in theories and practical applications, has presented his findings at major science conferences, won awards and published breakthroughs like his paper exposing the flaws in Stephen Hawking's Chronology Protection Conjecture ( see http://network.nature.com/
Marshall is doing an increasing number of radio interviews getting his message out as well as public speaking events. Last month he was Science Guest of Honor at the All-Con sci-fi convention in Addison, TX (see http://www.prlog.org/
Marshall can be heard on the Dr. Rita Louise's Just Energy Radio show by going to http://www.justenergyradio.com at 8PM Thursday, EST.
