The Gary Player Invitational Charity Event to be Sponsored by Jaguar Land Rover Columbia

April 4, 2014 - PRLog -- The U.S. leg of the prestigious Gary Player Invitational is coming to Champions Retreat Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia this spring. The event will kick off with a welcome reception and dinner on Sunday, April 13, and continue Monday, April 14, with the Pro-Am Shotgun Tournament, followed by cocktails, an awards dinner, and entertainment. An annual charity Pro-Am tournament, the Gary Player Invitational brings professional athletes, celebrities, and top international business people together in a “Union of Golf and Giving,” raising funds to benefit The Player Foundation’s efforts to aid underprivileged children world-wide.

Among the celebrities participating will be Hollywood actors Anthony Anderson, Kevin Sorbo, Kristy Swanson, Beverly Johnson, and Joel Gretsch. Professional athletes Victor Green, Chris Doleman, Chris Singleton, George Gervin, Andre Reed, and Ed “Too Tall” Jones will join Olympians Dan Jansen and Lloyd Eisler, and pro golfers Sandra Gal, Jeremy Dale, Jamie Sadlowski, and Karen Palacios-Jansen on the greens.
