Since our formation in the summer of 2011, After the Homestretch- The ranch is in need of a dedicated evaluation/training arena that will allow ATHA to work with qualified horse trainers, who have volunteered their time at low-to-no cost, to evaluate each horse’s condition, and develop a plan for rehabilitation and training. By investing in rehabilitation of the horses it will lead to expediting their adoption, lessen their time in ATHA care and enable us to take in and help more horses. Check out the “before” and "after" pictures of “Cisco”, one of our rescued horses. Some difference, huh? Evaluation/Training Arena Project and Cost Your continued support will fund a 100’ by 200’ training arena on vacant land available at the ranch. To construct the arena, ATHA is fundraising to purchase [1] 600 linear feet of portable metal rails to serve as fencing and [2] sufficient fill dirt to be delivered and spread in the new arena to provide softer footing for the horses. The Training Arena Project will require 50 metal railing sections, including 2 gates, at the cost of $125 per 12’ section for a total cost of $6,250. Additionally, we estimate needing another $1,000 for fill dirt delivered and spread for a total project cost of $7,250. End
