AJALTOUN, Lebanon - April 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Sanita Persona, member of INDEVCO, will showcase private label products for brand extension at INDEX14 from 8 - 11 April 2014 at Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland. During the leading nonwovens exhibition, Sanita Persona representatives will be available to meet global hygiene brands at Booth # 4035.

Sanita Persona manufactures and distributes a range of private label products including, wet wipes, hand sanitizers, and antibacterial soaps, as well as household cleansers.

Allergen-Free Wet Wipes

Wet wipes regularly come in direct contact with the skin of babies, teens, and adults, thus consumers are continuously concerned with potential substances that may cause allergic reactions. Sanita Persona produces antibacterial, multipurpose, and baby wet wipes, as well as make-up remover wipes with a new allergen-free formula and organic extracts proven gentle on sensitive skin and dermatologically-tested and approved by European laboratories.

Sanita Persona’s various wet wipes include natural ingredients, such as aloe vera for soothing and calming; almond milk for irritated skin; fresh chamomile with anti-inflammatory properties; natural olive oil with an anti-irritation agent; protective cream for hydrated and balanced skin; and vitamin E for skin nourishment.

Long-Lasting Hand Sanitizer

Common issues consumers worry about with hand sanitizers include difficulty of use, sticky formula, short-term protection and residual malodors. Sanita Persona developed a 100% non-sticky long-lasting hand sanitizer spray, which protects for up to 4 hours, in addition to hand sanitizer gel in pump and refill bottles. Both easy-to-use hand sanitizers control malodor with aloe vera extracts and glycerin for fresh and soft hands. Sanita Persona hand sanitizers contain FDA-compliant ingredients, tested under European norms, including:

Bactericidal: EN 1276 (S. aureus, E. coli, E. hirae and P. aeruginosa); EN 1040 (S. aureus and P. aeruginosa)

Fungicidal: EN 1650 (C. albicans and A. niger)

Active against viruses: HIV-1(Aids virus), Hepatitis A Virus (HAV), Hepatitis B Virus (HBV), Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), Influenza, Avian Influenza (H5N1), Herpes simplex, Swine Flu (H1N1)

Triclosan-Free Antibacterial Liquid Soap

Recent light has been shed on the potentially harmful effects of Triclosan, an ingredient found in a majority of antibacterial soaps that slows or stops the growth of bacteria. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), began investigating Triclosan in 2010, stating, “There are indications that certain ingredients in these soaps may contribute to bacterial resistance to antibiotics, and may have unanticipated hormonal effects that are of concern to FDA.” The FDA concurs “At this time, FDA does not have evidence that Triclosan added to antibacterial soaps and body washes provides extra health benefits over soap and water.”

Although FDA results are not yet conclusive, Sanita Persona took precaution and proactive steps to refrain from including the ingredient in hand soap and antibacterial liquid soap. All active antibacterial ingredients in Sanita Persona Triclosan-free and Paraben-free liquid soaps are listed in the indirect food additives by the FDA. Sanita Persona produces hand and antibacterial liquid soap for households and institutions with natural extracts, including chamomile, vitamin E, and glycerin.
