There a many cases wherein fake certificates have been the cause of admission in many educational institutions and for many employment purpose.

These fake certificates exactly look like the original one and any lay man will find it really difficult in sorting out difference between the two. Time and again such certificates are floating the employment market without the knowledge of employers and the general public.

In order root out this problem of fake education certificates, leading bourse BSE has chalked out an insurance repository solution by storing the educational qualification credentials in dematerialised format.

The managing director and CEO of BSE had clearly stated that the exchange has issued a proposal that will create educational qualification repository wherein all the educational qualifications right from kinder garden onwards can be incorporated into the depository which can be cross checked or verified by any potential employer or any other person or authority as the case may be before providing employment or for any legal matter whatsoever.

It is in fact a tool or a helping hand to any employer for verifying educational credentials of the candidates before offering the job post. This act of BSE, to dematerialized educational certificates will also ignite the fear on all those people who resort to such malpractices and thus enables the right candidate to get the right job that he or she deserves on the basis of merits.

This step of BSE is vital in rooting out malpractices in all the important fortes viz. employment, legal work etc. and offer good aid and guidance in rendering better services to the public.

In order to make this policy robust and free from any encumbrances, BSE is working in sync with Ministry of Human Resource and Development. Further the managing director also emphasised on the need and importance of making more amount of investments in productive assets rather than in gold and silver on one hand and on the other stress was induced on the need for increased financial literacy in the society to make the country strong both intellectually and financially.

Productive assets are those that produce goods in business like portfolio of shares, rental property, plant and machinery etc. These assets have their value appreciated over the period of time or they produce a cash return by selling them. Investing more in these assets will produce more returns and will lead to the overall development of the economy.

The demat repository of educational qualification certificates will be a benchmark for rooting out corruption, malpractices in employment and other legal and political matters.
