Bauman is currently a student at the Southwest Institute of Natural Esthetics. She is scheduled to graduate in September 2014, but she is no stranger to the beauty industry. The Laveen resident operates a mobile laser teeth whitening service called FaceKouture by Koya. Appointments can be made by emailing her at bookingKoyaB@
“Whether it’s aesthetics or teeth whitening I love to offer services to people that make them feel and look beautiful,” said Bauman. “It is my hope to own and operate my own beauty bar one day.”
Even though she is still a student, Bauman understands the importance of ongoing education. She said she joined UAO to learn and grow with experienced aestheticians, as well as network and get involved in the community.
The United Aesthetics Organization, Inc. was founded to enhance the image and practices of professionals in the aesthetics field and encourage its members to adhere to the highest standards in the industry. Initial membership fees are $75 for aestheticians and other beauty professionals for the first year, $40 for students and $60 to renew. Sponsorships are also available.
