The chef is from Istanbul. A preview of recently opened Los Jilbertos recommends it for giant burritos and huevos rancheros. Plus it’s open for a taco fix 24 hours a day. Three new trails have opened up: Intrepid Trail 2 at Dead Horse State Park; Hymasa, part of the Amasa Back Trail System; and Prospector Hiking Trail that starts north of the Rock Shop. There are also new trails that are still works in progress by Gemini Bridges. Stop by the Moab Adventure Center for directions. Moab Gear Trader is a new consignment store offering free Wifi and a library of guide books and maps. Staff can also provide tips on where to go explore next. Warm-weather consignment and/or items for purchase include gear for biking, climbing, boating, hiking and such sporting goods as bats and balls. There’s also an impressive selection for kids. New accommodations are Comfort Suites opening July 29; Marriott-Fairfield Inn & Suites opening in November; and ready now is the area's first-ever "glamping" destination, Moab Under Canvas.
