Q Software To Launch New Security and Compliance Solutions for JD Edwards World at Collaborate 14

DENVER - April 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Q Software Global, an Oracle Gold Partner and provider of security management and compliance solutions for JD Edwards users, will launch new security and compliance solutions for users of JD Edwards World at Collaborate 14 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas from April 7-11.

Insight Reporting for QSoftware works in conjunction with the company’s Segregation of Duties (SoD) management module, World SoD, to make it easy to produce auditor-friendly SoD reports.  SoD violations can now be viewed in pre-built dynamic enquiries where users can drill down to investigate the details. The tools help users to improve the effectiveness of their SoD controls yet greatly reduce the effort needed to manage them.

QSoftware for JD Edwards World A9.3 works with the new security controls in JD Edwards World A9.3 to expedite the implementation of an All Doors Closed Policy, which better protects organizations from the risk of fraud and reduces the effort needed to manage security.

Traditionally the complexities of managing security in World often resulted in complex configuration and security settings that were hard to manage. They also made it very difficult to establish exactly what a particular User or Group could access. QSoftware’s solution allows users to quickly identify the gaps in their existing security, then use the new binary locks in JD Edwards World A9.3 to close them, making it feasible now for users to implement an All Doors Closed Policy, as recommended by auditors.
