Attorneys Bahadoran & Wilke Receive Client Choice Awards

MIAMI - April 2, 2014 - PRLog -- The national law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that two of its South Florida attorneys, Sina Bahadoran, a partner in the Coral Gables office, and Cheryl L. Wilke, a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office, have received the 2014 International Law Office (ILO) and Lexology Client Choice Awards – USA & Canada. Bahadoran was recognized in Insurance & Reinsurance in Florida. Wilke was recognized for Employment & Labor in Florida. Attorneys receiving these awards were assessed based on criteria that focus on client service.

Winners of the Client Choice Awards were selected through a survey administered exclusively to senior corporate counsel, with this year’s winners chosen from more than 2,000 individual client assessments. Firms and partners were assessed on the following criteria: quality of legal advice, value for money, commercial awareness, effective communication, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, response time, sharing of expertise and use of technology. This year, ILO and Lexology recognized 251 individual winners across 46 U.S. states and four Canadian provinces.

Established in 2005, the Client Choice Awards recognizes law firms and partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service. Law firms and individuals can only be nominated for these awards by corporate counsel.

Bahadoran is co-chair of Hinshaw's national Insurance Services Practice. He represents insurers in complex coverage disputes and market conduct (bad faith) matters throughout the southeastern United States. His emphasis is on matters involving errors and omissions (lawyers, agents and accountants), directors and officers, and employment practices liability policies. Bahadoran has been involved in litigation throughout the country, particularly the southeast. His appellate practice includes notable appearances in the Florida Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, including matters of first impression. He earned his JD from Boston College School of Law and his BA, summa cum laude, from the University of Tennessee.

Wilke is the Partner-in-Charge of Hinshaw's Ft. Lauderdale office. She focuses her practice on the representation of employers in labor and employment matters, including litigation of FLSA, Title VII and retaliatory cases. In addition, Wilke provides comprehensive risk management programs for her clients. She counsels on all aspects of employer/employee relations, including business litigation, regulatory compliance, employment defense litigation and workers’ compensation matters. Wilke also practices in the area of high-dollar commercial litigation and collections and services. She earned her JD from Stetson University College of Law and her BA, with honors, from Florida Atlantic University.
