This season’s biggest fashion web series, The Next Style Star, is all about fashion for real people, so it was no surprise when Urban Darling Chief Creative Officer, Luisa Lucia, was selected as a top competitor. Hosted by Jeannie Mai, well known fashion expert and host of the Style Network’s How Do I Look? and talk show The Real, the show is sure to be a hit amongst viewers when it airs tomorrow morning at 10AM Pacific Standard Time.

When asked about her involvement, L.A. Darling Lucia said, “I’m honored to have been chosen as a stylist for The Next Style Star. At Urban Darling we believe in styling real women and that is what the Macy’s brand stands for.  If viewers take anything away, I hope it’s that no matter who they are or how much money they spend on their wardrobe, they can feel beautiful and empowered through their fashion choices.”

Each of the 16 stylists will bring their own unique flair to the series, pulling together different looks using Macy’s merchandise in the hopes of winning the $10,000 prize and a chance to have their winning style revealed in the New York Macy’s Herald Square store display. Famous trendsetters such as MTV’s Whitney Port and Wendy Nguyen of Wendy’s Lookbook will judge their looks throughout the ten-episode competition.
