Columbia MD Dental Office to Run in Baltimore 6K

COLUMBIA, Md. - April 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Smile Savers Dentistry of Columbia, MD will once again be participating in the annual Believe in Tomorrow Port to Fort 6K this month. Named one of CBS Baltimore's Best Running Events, Believe In Tomorrow's 18th Annual Port to Fort 6k raises money to benefit the Believe In Tomorrow Children's Foundation.

Dr. Daniel Stewart says, "This race has become a great game in my office. The staff race each other to raise money for an awesome group of people who help courageous families. We raise a little money while having a fun competition. It makes for a great morning on race day. We are so appreciative that our patients have helped our staff in this way as well. In addition to the registration fee, both doctor and staff have been busy raising money towards the race. Patients, vendors, family and friends - as well as other area dentists have contributed to this year's event. Smile Savers Dentistry hopes to top last year's fundraising amount. Smile Savers Dentistry is a big supporter of the Believe in Tomorrow Foundation, a Baltimore-based nonprofit, which offers respite housing for families with sick children and emergency housing for families who live far away and have sick children at Johns Hopkins Hospital. In addition to raising money, matching funds and getting staff, patients and friends to participate in their many runs, Dr. Stewart and his family also personally make one meal per month at the Believe in Tomorrow House in Baltimore for the families staying there.
