*** NYC UNSEEN ARTISTS Exhibits 17 year old Alex Hernandez

Alex Hernandez, a student at LaGuardia High School, has been selected to curate the 2014 Spring Awakening exhibit in Chelsea, NY. There will be over 200 works of art shown. All art by other local student artists grades ninth through twelfth.

NEW YORK - April 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Now in its seventh year, Unseen Artists Future Curators program presents an opportunity for high school students to show their leadership qualities, broaden their knowledge of the inner workings of an art exhibition. Under the leadership of LaRonda Rose the Art Director at Unseen Artists, the young curators actively take part in every aspect of preparing their exhibition, from writing wall texts / exhibition descriptions to developing invitations for their art opening. The students have the opportunity to bring their own creativity and unique viewpoints into the professional setting of a real life art show.
