PML transmission pan supports stock Allison filters

INGLEWOOD, Calif. - April 1, 2014 - PRLog -- PML has recently tested their aftermarket heavy duty deep sump transmission pan on various years and versions of Allison transmissions and filters. For ease of installation, the PML pan has supports cast into the pan to hold the filter in place.  Although the PML pan holds more than three quarts over the stock pan, the stock filter part number 29542833 without an extension works perfectly with the PML pan. The pan has a drain plug that makes sevicing easier and less messy. The pan has a cast in boss that can be drilled and tapped for a transmission fluid heat gauge sensor.

GMC and Chevrolet 2500/3500 diesel and 8.1 V8 trucks from 2001 to present rely on the workhorse Allison transmission.
