~ Reader Reviews

Since his youth, author and motorcycle enthusiast Bryan Hall has dreamed of traveling across America’s most famous highways.

Early television shows like Route 66, Then Came Bronson, and Movin’ On, would soon birth a new sub-culture of adventure seekers. Audiences quickly became enthralled by the two-wheeled explorers and their nomadic episodes.

In the summer of 2011, Mr. Hall’s dream would finally be fulfilled. Along with his good friend, Mike, the country’s blacktop would soon unfurl beneath their wheels.

What was originally planned as a two-week trip, would soon turn into three, then four—then eventually, six weeks—and 9,500 miles—later, their trip would be complete.

But the memories would last a lifetime.

“Spun from a wistful blend of history and highway adventures, author Bryan Hall crafts an entertaining, humorous, and descriptive account of life on America’s roads,” said Kathie McGuire, Director of Brighton Publishing LLC. “Similar to Gary McKechnie’s masterful achievement, Great American Motorcycle Tours, Life Behind Bars captures the vivid scenery and epic landmarks of a truly beautiful country.”

Author Bryan Hall considers himself fortunate to live in one of America’s best places—the Pacific Northwest. His life revolves around frequent treks to the Pacific Ocean, Mount Rainier, Mount St. Helens, and the open farmlands of the Kittitas Valley.
