The forty-one year old Welsh company provides serviced office accommodation across prime locations in Newport, Cardiff and Bristol, and has long seen Swindon as a key area to expand into. “Needless to say, we’re thrilled that the Lord-Lieutenant has agreed to conduct the ceremony. It’ll be a landmark day for us,” says Rombourne’s Chairman, Denis Donovan.
Rombourne purchased Kingston House at the end of 2013, and immediately started to renovate the 17,000sq ft building. “We’ve redeveloped it so that it’s now a prestigious, 5-star business centre; offering up to 190 workstations in a range of 3 to 25 person offices,” says Mr Donovan.
The building is Grade A, rated as ‘BREEAM Very Good’, and fully air conditioned. It also has high speed broadband access, allowing Rombourne to offer tenants flexible IT and telephony services.
Rombourne is already receiving enquiries for Kingston House, according to Sales Director, Matt Read. “The fact that it has such excellent M4 access makes it very popular – it’s just off J16 of the M4. Plus the ability to move in, plug in, and simply get on with your business straight away is very appealing; as is the knowledge that office space can be quickly expanded or decreased, with virtually no hassle. The cost of serviced offices is not as high as people might expect, and the fact that so many businesses are opting for it shows how on balance, it’s a very attractive option.”
