Artist Spotlight: VON SHORTER at Urban Indie Radio-L.A April 3, 2014- 6PM

LOS ANGELES - March 31, 2014 - PRLog -- Von Shorter is a talented Singer Songwriter Actor who is currently on a promo/radio tour across 25 cities for his debut Album "MELODRAMA" which is set to be released May 2014.The album is described as amazingly super-charged R&B, that is soulful, current & lyrically thought provoking.

In July 2013 after receiving great support for his role on the made for web series "Lyrics Of Life" Von teamed up with Atlanta producer Nick Stein, who had seen him in the web reality series.Together they created "No Favors" which is a tribute song to Trayvon Martin. With Nick on board Von was able to bring his melodies and skill set to life. The team then went into pre production on what will be Von's debut album "MELODRAMA".

Von's promotional tour has led him to perform at this years SXSW music festival and from there he was a featured artist at Matthew Knowles"House of Dereon". He also made a stop with "Lady Flava Network" in the upstate Tri State area.

Von describes MELODRAMA as "the type of album that makes you believe in music again- it's new, it's fresh, soulful, but yet current and sooo different from what you've been hearing, it's shocking, funny, you will fall in love, you will dance, you will cry, it's timeless, relateable, it's You"!
