Follow on Google News | Mascots To Offer Sweet Treats In Carlisle Shopping ComplexTwo very special and loveable characters will be visiting The Lanes, Carlisle on Friday April 11 and making sure children who bring their own huggable friend along get some special treats.
The mascots will also be handing out hugs aplenty and posing for pictures with children who want a photo taken with the very friendly pair. The event celebrates the fact that children aged 5-15 years can travel free with both visitor attractions between April 12 and 24, if they bring their teddy with them for the steam railway or lake cruise day out and are accompanied by a full fee-paying adult. One child can travel free with each full fee-paying adult on this Easter holidays offer. There is no charge for under-5s either, as is the case all year round. An Easter holidays day out with either attraction will be full of fun and special competitions will also be running. Both attractions have lots of things for children to do and offer stunning scenery and views that all members of the family can enjoy. Rachel Bell, marketing manager for both attractions, says: “We hope to see lots of children in Carlisle, so that La’al and Sammy can share the delicious Haribo sweets they have to give away. “We also want to tell families that it’s well worth getting teddy decked out in his best clothes and all spruced up for a great day out. We’re sure he’ll thank his owner for taking him along.” More information is available at www.ravenglass- Press calls: Jane Hunt, Catapult PR, 01253 891114 – jane@catapultpr.co.uk End
