Conversation is the key to identifying the best solutions, yet actually starting these conversations can be challenging. To make the process easier and to get people with solutions talking honestly and openly this pack of conversation cards has been created to help people implementing the 6Cs across the NHS.
Lynda Holt MA, DipHE, RGN, FInstLM said " These cards have been designed to help you ask the right questions of yourself and each other. The questions have been designed in four sections and will help you examine what the 6C’s really mean to you, what is currently happening in your area, what you could do differently and then to focus on what will have the biggest impact. These cards card will drive team discussions around the 6Cs."
Each pack contains 48 challenging questions which can be used by individuals, pairs and groups of any size, along with fundamental tips about putting the 6Cs into practice, they also contain skill prompts to remind you how to have high impact conversations.
Lynda works with NHS Trusts, CCGs and individual health professionals to enhance quality, clinical safety and performance by enabling, empowering and developing staff. Prior to this Lynda worked in the NHS in both clinical and leadership roles. She said "Sometimes it is as simple as asking the right people powerful questions, which is reason behind these cards.
