L-Smooth to Perform for Spring Jam 2014

OKLAHOMA CITY - March 27, 2014 - PRLog -- L-Smooth will be one of the featured artists at the ACM@UCO Performance Lab Spring Jam 2014 event held in Oklahoma City, OK this coming weekend.  This event presented by K. Raney and ACM@UCO Performance Lab brings together Oklahoma City’s most finest talented artists, a community of family and friends, and music industry executives to rejoice together as the power of music rocks the city with the spring sounds of true Hip Hop and focus on one common goal of uniting rather than separating the rap scene.

“People are eager to get out in the Spring time since being stuck inside for the Winter months.  I’m just ready to have a good time with old and new faces,” stated L-Smooth.

L-Smooth has been a Community Leader in Oklahoma his whole life.  Each year he is the performing headliner for local events, such as Midwest City’s yearly benefit Christmas concert, “Rap Gives.”  He doesn’t fit the usual profile of an artist in the Hip Hop nation. Unlike most artists whom are recognized as having a very distinguished image that identifies with their street life, L-Smooth’s style of production approaches the new millennium in an effort to bring substance, originality, and underlying energy to the city streets.

The upcoming event, “Spring Jam 2014” will launch on March 29, 2014 at the ACM@UCO Performance Lab, 329 E. Sheridan Oklahoma City, OK.  Doors open at 9:00pm.  Ages 18+.  $10.00Entry /$7.00Entry with Hard Copy Flyer.  Ladies are free until 11:00pm.  Featured artists include B. DJ Just Jay will be on the 1s and 2s during L-Smooth’s performance set.  What artist do you know that brings their DJ to an event?  This audience is sure to be able to see L-Smooth first hand in sharing his daily life experiences and the voices of his peers through sharp lyrical storytelling, such as with his forthcoming new singles, “One Time” featuring Stretch Luv from his upcoming project, “Live Poet Society Assassins Breed” and “Pillow Cases” featuring Shylah Vaughn from his upcoming project, “Fortunate.“  These new singles have a signature smooth Golden Era sound with an intense message,” stated L-Smooth’s Manager, Rodney Dawson of Street City Enterprises, LLC.
