Kaercher achieves BME Excellence in eSolutions Award 2014 with Wallmedien E-Procurement solution

DUSSELDORF, Germany - March 27, 2014 - PRLog -- Dusseldorf, 03-27-2014 –Wallmedien AG, renowned for its E-procurement expertise, congratulates this year’s winner of the AMMPL eSolution Award, Alfred Kärcher GmbH & Co. KG, worldwide leading supplier of cleaning technology.

Every year the German Association Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics (BME) recognizes enterprises that introduce and develop innovative E-procurement solutions. The award is given for concepts that lead to the implementation of best practices and which result in proven efficiencies and an increased company profits.

A key element, of the award winning project, has been the realization of substantial economies of scale via the introduction of the Wallmedien E-procurement suite WPS Easyprocure. The main focus was the implementation of integrated processes and the improvement of data quality. The Wallmedien solution made it possible to automate core processes as well as support processes within Kärchers indirect purchasing operations.
