TREO Art Gallery is centrally located in an area of New Orleans that facilitates many local creatives.
About The Artists:
New Orleans native Dante Cannatella draws from a cocktail of graphic novel, street art, indigenous tribal and 20th century European imagery to create scenes of human interaction that resonate universally and provide a lens through which viewers can experience the ever-fluxing transition between reality and memory.
Rising star, budding curator, and New Orleans visual artist of the year, Emily Lovejoy, works with recaptured images. She uses her cognitive accumulation of tangible and intangible materials. Inspiration for her work comes from anything and everything. In the works exhibited in "After Ego", she examines some individuals with larger than live personalities, while displaying them based on their image and how they want to be perceived in hopes that the viewer will ask the question of who they are beyond that.
