The exhibit is a development of the EmpowerArt program created by Bear Givers, a New York-based organization that provides children in need with opportunities to feel the pride and joy of engaging in acts of kindness and generosity. The EmpowerArt program enables children with illnesses or special needs to express their creativity in art shows that benefit their schools, hospitals, and programs. The children of Beacon Therapeutic have created stunning artwork which will be displayed and sold at an art show on April 3rd in the lobby of Beverly Bank and Trust. 100% of the proceeds will help Beacon to continue their mission of empowering children and families as they help them to find their way to a better future by providing accredited educational, mental health, and social services. Many of the young artists themselves will be in attendance to proudly witness their colorful and unique art pieces being admired and purchased. Food and refreshments will be served during the exhibit at the Beverly Bank & Trust. “Bear Givers is happy to join with Beacon Therapeutic to support an event that will allow these young artists to showcase their creativity and empower their spirits,” says Joseph Sprung, Chairman of Bear Givers.
