C&H Racing team will shave there heads
to start the 2014 racings season.
ROSEVILLE, CA (3-25-2014) – Ron Chunn, driver of the C&H Racing NASCAR Late Model No. 44 and some members of his crew will have their heads saved to start the 2014 racings season.
The head shaving event is part of the Shave in Solidarity program of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
Chunn is the father to three kids, one of which is battling cancer. On May 8 2009, Chunn’s youngest son Cole was diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoblastic lymphoma and he began chemotherapy immediately. Chunn said that “Cole has been through a lot since he began his treatments from blood transfusions to hair loss and pain, but no matter how bad he got, Cole always smiled making him my hero.” After a long two year battle, Cole has officially finished his last chemo treatment on May 8, 2011 and the family hopes for no relapse.
The C&H Racing “Shave in Solidarity” event will take place on Thursday April 3 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at the Squeeze Inn, 106 N Sunrise Ave Roseville. The Squeeze Inn will be helping by donating 20% of your bill that day to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Also on site will be several race cars.
The C&H “Shave in Solidarity” event is sponsored in part by Alphagraphics and AG Signs.
