PRLog - March 27, 2014 - SAN FRANCISCO -- March 27th, 2014 – San Francisco, California – Foreword Literary, Inc., the literary agency that focuses on technology and innovation in addition to the more traditional aspects of book publishing, today announced the addition of Sara Sciuto as an Associate Agent and Children’s Specialist at the firm.
Partner Laurie McLean knew that Foreword wanted to have a skilled agent handling all things children at the agency. “Foreword is committed to representing all types of work for all age groups from the youngest children’s titles to mature adult fare, so it was important for us to have a full complement of agents. With the addition of Sara, we now have that critical kidlit specialist.”
Sara is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, and also completed literature coursework at NYU. Her first industry experience was working on film and foreign rights with the Taryn Fagerness Agency. From there she joined Full Circle Literary where she specialized in children’s literature and was there for over three years before joining Foreword Literary.
“I’m so thrilled to be joining the wonderful team at Foreword Literary, and to continue building my list of picture book, middle grade, and YA clients as Foreword expands in the children’s marketplace. Foreword’s expertise in today’s evolving publishing environment is unique and I’m eager to bring that expertise to my clients,” Sciuto said.
