The Jewell Jackson McCabe Emerging Leaders Institute Welcomes New Board Members

ATLANTA - March 26, 2014 - PRLog -- March 26, 2014 Atlanta, GA.  The Jewell Jackson McCabe Emerging Leaders Institute, Inc. (ELI) welcome Ms. Jewel Anderson and Mr. David Butler to its Board of Directors.  The Board provides strategic guidance and financial resources to support the organization's mission of empowering women and girls to be effective leaders.  The board term is two years.

Ms. Anderson has vast experience in the non-profit arena.  She currently serves as Career Coach with Atlanta non-profit Year-Up, is a member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, and campaign manager to Sonya Hunte, candidate for Henry County Commissioner.  Ms. Anderson is also a 2013 Leadership Division graduate of ELI, and received the Most Valuable Resource award for outstanding service.

Mr. Butler has a strong administrative background.  He is a US Army veteran, having served two tours in Iraq and promoted to Captain, and currently serves as the Compliance Coordinator and Program Administrator with Atlanta Public Schools After Schools Program 21st Century Community Learning Center.  He is an AAU basketball coach and serves as mentor to elementary school students.

The Jewell Jackson McCabe Emerging Leaders Institute, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit women's leadership development and training organization.
