Nicholas J. Cappadora Joins Sahn Ward Coschignano & Baker, PLLC

March 26, 2014 - PRLog -- UNIONDALE, NY — Sahn Ward Coschignano & Baker, PLLC (http://www.swcblaw.com/) has announced that Nicholas J. Cappadora has joined the firm as a new Associate. He received his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in May of 2013. He previously worked at the firm as a law clerk.

During law school, Mr. Cappadora interned for Nassau County Supreme Court Justice Anthony L. Parga where he assisted in drafting decisions, researching legal issues and conducting in-camera reviews of discovery documents. Mr. Cappadora is also a New York State Certified Mediator and mediated child custody and visitation disputes at Nassau County Family Court as part of Hofstra’s Mediation Clinic. He was also an intern for the Long Island Real Estate Group’s at Work Program, in which he shadowed attorneys, architects, brokers, developers, bankers and insurance title brokers in the real estate industry.

While at Hofstra, Mr. Cappadora received the Hon. Frank A. Gullotta Endowed Scholarship from the Columbian Lawyers Association of Nassau County, of which he is a member. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section, the Nassau County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers, Real Property and Dispute Resolution Committees and the Long Island Real Estate Group.

While attending law school, Mr. Cappadora was also an active member of the Dispute Resolution Society where he competed in a Dispute Resolution Triathlon sponsored by FINRA. He also attended Hofstra University as an undergraduate, where he graduated cum laude. He currently resides in Bethpage.
