Greg Hall Runs for Maryland House of Delegates

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. - March 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Prince George's County, MD - Greg Hall (D) seeks a seat in the Maryland House of Delegates.

With the primary elections only months away, Hall is determined to represent the 24th district. Hall's passion for the community, where he was raised, resonates with many residents across the county. Outspoken about strengthening the quality of the current education system, raising the minimum wage and protecting the rights' of Maryland citizens is evident by his footprints in the community.

"It's not just about me, it's about the people. Creating a Maryland for the people is really my passion and why I want this seat,” said Hall.

Despite some resistance from other local politicians, Hall has worked tirelessly to beat the odds. As a small business owner and mentor to young, future leaders, he is one of the few pillars in his community. For him, the current $7.25 minimum wage worker in Maryland is at a disadvantage and regardless of the income disparity, these people should not feel slighted. Standing tall on job training and tax reliefs for small businesses, Hall knows that the changes he want to implement do not happen from behind a desk.

"I'm not afraid to have a voice and speak openly about the issues that need addressing, but most importantly I'm also willing to speak for those, in this community, that struggle to be heard."

Hall will announce his candidacy for state delegate of the Maryland House of Delegates, this Wednesday, March 26 at Irie restaurant, 2200 Petrie Lane, Glenarden, MD 20706.
