Independent Short Film Inspired by Trayvon Martin

GREENSBORO, N.C. - March 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Thursday March 27^th, 12p.m. to 12a.m., Free 12 Hour Private Online Screening of new controversial film.  “Journey Home” is an Independent film written, produced, and directed by On Faith Entertainment that was inspired by the tragic death of Trayvon Martin.  This film is not a documentary but it takes a creative approach at adding depth to this polarized story in a manner that inspires greater humanity in the face of tragedy.  Within twenty-four hours of release, the extended trailer received over 1,200 views on YouTube.

In conjunction with the film, On Faith Entertainment is promoting the #Me@17 social media campaign to encourage a global conversation on the value of one life’s potential.  Looking to capture the reflections of people across the globe that can take a look at their life, and compare it to how they would have been eulogized if they passed away at the age of 17.  It is there hope that this universal message can champion a social reaction that leads us to focus more of our attention on the youth of the world, and work to help them maximize their potential.  The writer and director of Journey Home made this statement “Change is the point when who you are meets who you will be, and you become someone you have never been.  Everyone deserves a chance to change.”
