Hydrogen Sulfide & Human Exposure Risks Discussed in New Video

PHOENIX - March 23, 2014 - PRLog -- Today, the IAQ Video Network and Cochrane & Associates announced the release of their latest educational video.  Their newest production discusses human exposures risks to hydrogen sulfide (H2S).

Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is a colorless, flammable and potentially hazardous gas.  It can occur naturally and due to manmade activities.  “Hydrogen sulfide is heavier than air and may travel along the ground and collect in low-lying and enclosed, poorly-ventilated areas,”said Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates, the company behind the IAQ Video Network and the new public outreach video.  “In addition to being flammable, it is both an irritant and a chemical asphyxiant.  It effects both oxygen utilization and the central nervous system.
