Make Your Body Rock and "Dance for YOU"

NEW YORK - March 21, 2014 - PRLog -- New York (March 21, 2014) – The excitement continues as the #BeYou Campaign, announces its "Dance for YOU" fundraising celebration to be held at Rime NYC on Saturday, March 29, 2014, from 7-10pm. One of NYC hottest DJ's will rock the house with the latest  music, while brand ambassadors, contest participants, celebrities, TCM models, media, and other supporters sip on a signature Twisted Lemonade virgin cocktail, and dance the night away; all to raise money for the #BeYou campaign and scholarship!

Dance for YOU celebrates the essence of YOU. It's about creativity, self-expression, and liberation. Special live performance by a major New York City dance group, Breaks Kru.

Donations are encouraged at the door, and attendees can avoid the anticipated huge lines, as this private event is INVITE ONLY.

A limited edition run of exclusive #BeYou "Dance for YOU" T-shirts in honor of the campaign, will be available ONLY during the event. Designs courtesy of  Celebrity Artist/Graphic Designer TC of the Rezones.

Who is the Breaks Kru?

Celebrating their 18th anniversary, this b-boy phenomenon began traveling and competing across the East Coast, eventually receiving international stardom after battling one of break dancing's most sought after group in the 90's, "Crazy Legs and the New Rock Steady Crew".

Soon after, this controversial and mega-talented b-boy crew were booked out around the world; always focused on their mission of community activism and youth cultivation.

What is B-boying?

B-boying is a creative and improvisational mode of non-verbal communication and competition between individuals and groups, usually in relationship to music. It was birthed in the South Bronx in the early 1970s and is used as an alternative to gang fighting; it is a non-violent resolution to assert rights, defend turf, settle conflict, build community, entertain, and gain respect amongst peers, through the expressive use of the body and mind.

What is #BeYou All About?

#BeYou is an initiative that aims to spread the message of self-confidence by encouraging the youth to embrace themselves and pursue their dreams.  The campaign will provide the #BeYou Entrepreneurial Scholarship to 5 deserving students that exemplify overall achievement and good character and submit the best written work.  The #BeYou team is taking the campaign national and International, and hopes to help motivate the masses to join forces, and spread their positive and influential message.
