Coldwell Banker Hearthside REALTORS' Chris Orth named finalist in REALTOR Magazine's "30 Under 30"

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. - March 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Christopher Orth of the Huntingdon Valley office of Coldwell Banker Hearthside, REALTORS® has been named as a finalist in the 2014 edition of REALTOR® Magazine's "30 Under 30" recognition program.  Voting begins today at the 30 Under 30 home page - realtormag.realtor.org/30-Under-30

According to the magazine, each May/June, REALTOR® Magazine features 30 rising young stars in the real estate industry. In determining who makes the 30 Under 30 list, REALTOR® Magazine staff looks for candidates who are successful in the real estate business and have demonstrated skill, success, creativity, and leadership in their careers.

A third-generation REALTOR®, Chris obtained his license and joined Coldwell Banker in 2006, not long after finishing high school.  In addition to his work in real estate sales, Chris is also active in the work of the Greater Philadelphia Association of REALTORS (having served the Government Affairs and Technology Committees and the Board of Directors) as well as both the GPAR and Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS® Young Professionals Network (YPN).

Chris is a member of the Curt Gasper Sales Team, which in 2014 was once again named the #1 Affiliate Sales Team in Pennsylvania by Coldwell Banker Real Estate, LLC.  The Gasper Team has previously been honored as one of the top teams in the country and is consistently a top-producing sales team in the city of Philadelphia.

Chris is also an active supporter in the community, having co-founded "Chris' Beach Bums" with his mother while still in high school to support individuals living with Cystic Fibrosis.  Because Chris is also affected by CF he is particularly mindful of the needs of fellow sufferers with less access to care than he currently has.  Since 2000 Chris' Beach Bums has raised more than $85,000 to support CF research.
