Sunset - Miller 1 Well Update

The Miller #1 well has acted positively to the lowering of the pump in the perforated zones, reducing the gas flow, but with counteracting water flow. The Well produced 75 barrels of salt water within 24 hours and just over 1.5 inches of oil, this is very promising. As we progress, the water levels should reduce with an increase in the oil production. This Well is unique, particularly based on past performance that both Sunset and John Upcraft have experienced in the area. The well has shown the potential for great production levels, it is trial and error but the well is being worked on continuously with very experienced hands. As no doubt you are all aware, there are 3 main factors that drive oil to the surface, Gas, Water and Manmade push. This Well currently has two of the three and good levels of both. The more time we spend with it, the more likely we are to clear out the well and get to the productive stages. The well has shown the potential to reach 40 barrels of oil per day, and Sunset still remain confident to achieve this from the results achieved so far.

Upcoming Projects for Sunset Oil & Gas

The drilling season is set to kick off with a bang! Sunset Oil and Gas Partners LLC have named the next two wells to be drilled within the same vicinity as the previous six.

First on the programme list is Cairns, Anglo Oil LLC has been allocated 40 x 1.3655% for this well. The second well is to be named Kennedy, and again Anglo Oil LLC has been assigned 40 x 1.3655%

As with all of the previous wells, John Upcraft and Clyde Etchason have worked very hard to obtain the drilling permits and believe the area is still providing enough evidence to suggest the wells hold a great amount of potential as we progress and move forward throughout 2014.
