By: Brian Marki Fine Art and Framing As a long-time Portland gallerist and fine art framer, Brian Marki represents both International and American artists, including the late Italian artist Sandro Negri, American landscape artist Scott Gellatly, abstract artist Gordon Marshall, Jason Bradbury and a host of others. Marki sees his new artistic mission is to bring additional depth to the Palm Springs area’s revitalizing fine art scene. He is excited to bring an entirely new stable of artists to the Palm Springs region’s art collectors. And with a full-service framing facility on-site, he also believes he is adding an important art service to the region. Now with both Portland and Palm Springs locations, Marki says, “I see the same re-birth of the arts in Palm Springs that we saw in Portland 20 years ago when I opened the NE Broadway location. It is inspiring and a credit to the tremendous philanthropic spirit in the Palm Springs’ community. The recent Palm Springs Film Festival and Palm Springs Museum 75th Anniversary Gala are two fine examples.” The Palm Springs gallery is centrally located at 170 East Arenas Road, between South Palm Canyon and South Indian Canyon. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday, 11AM to 5PM.
