DENVER - March 20, 2014 - PRLog -- The Certification Institute is holding the Certification Marketing Summit in Denver, Colorado, from March 31 through April 1, 2014. This intensive, two-day event will focus on understanding how changing market demographics affect certification and will help participants rethink their organization's brand and target their messages to a diverse and different market.

Larry Lynch, president and CEO of National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP), will participate in two panels discussing the new rules of brand leadership, specifically covering what brand leadership is and how it has changed in the 21st century. Participants will explore the new rules of brand leadership through several case studies from global brands such as Apple, Harley Davidson and Google, as well as for several certification organizations.

Larry Lynch is a 30+ year veteran of the business and trade/professional association worlds. In 2002 Larry was recognized as a Fellow by the American Society of Association Executives, one of less than 200 individuals recognized within an organization of over 23,000 members.  Prior to joining NRFSP, Larry served as the director of the renowned Disney Institute where he and his team assisted companies from the Fortune 50 to start-up businesses in applying the Disney leadership, management and customer service principles as well as customized management solutions to their own companies and organizations. Locally, he has been named Rotarian of the Month 5 times since joining the Dr. Phillips (Orlando) Rotary Club where served as president in 2011-2012.

“As demographics in the U.S. continue to change,” says Mr. Lynch, “organizations need to ensure they are appealing to this new marketplace. This is especially critical to certification bodies, who face unique challenges with brand management. This event will help ensure organizations have the appropriate branding strategies.”

Other speakers include Executive Director of the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators Graham Brent, Principal at Big Voice Communications Natalie Judd, and Vice President of Professional Certification and Client Development at Professional Testing, Inc. Christine Niero.
