ARTOURS conference at Cauley Square

MIAMI - March 19, 2014 - PRLog -- The Children's Gallery and Arts Center announces ARTOURS, conference that will offer an extraordinary platform to understand the wide range of artistic efforts happening in Cauley Square, located in a non-incorporated area of South Miami-Dade County. By learning and sharing ideas, collective victories, challenges, and issues with a group of like-minded colleagues and peers, this nonprofit organization will be able to create effective strategies that work for all. "It’s all about the importance of interconnecting arts and tourism, and creating strong collaborative efforts to impulse the economy", says Natalie M. prieto, co-founder and Executive Director.

Points of interests:

·         Promoting public artistic tourism to our area by attracting people who are willing to interact directly with artists.

·         Creating tourism/arts partnerships to promote and benefit both industries.

·         Encouraging lodging establishments to promote our arts community while promoting their business.

·         Promoting economic development through the arts and culture within our community by supporting the creation of partnerships between cities, artists, local business, commerce, economic development authorities and tourism organizations.

·         Helping stimulate our local economy through creative solutions like a permanent art market, giving individual artists the opportunity to grow through self-employment.
