Box PC with an extremely efficient cooling system

March 19, 2014 - PRLog -- The top models in the Nuvo-3000 series (www.acceed.com/21100) are equipped with the powerful third generation Intel i7 processor. In addition, i5 and i3 processors are available for selection. The HD Graphics 4000 graphic chip enables the Nuvo-3000 series devices, for example, to output several full HD videos to the three monitor connections (DP, HDMI and DVI) in synch. Up to 16 GB DDR3 working memory provides ample capacity for the high data throughput by image processing. A CFast slot is provided at the front for fast external saving of large data quantities.

The casing provides space for a 2.5" hard drive, a further 3.5" hard drive can be housed in a detachable and insulated box. The insulation minimises the generation of heat, thus increasing the stability of the system. The highlight: depending on the model, the box can either accommodate a 3.5" hard drive (Nuvo-3003TB and Nuvo-3005TB), a PCI card (Nuvo-3003P and Nuvo-3005P) or a PCIe card (Nuvo-3003E and Nuvo-3005E). The model with the PCIe slot has a PCIe x8 slot.

The Nuvo-3000 series offers a wide range of interfaces. For example, the Nuvo-3005P-I7QC offers five GigE interfaces, four USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 interfaces, two programmable serial interfaces (RS232/422/485), 16 digital IOs and two mini PCIe connections (one of which has a USIM card slot for WLAN, 3G/GPRS). This meets all the prerequisites for demanding controller solutions. With their features, the Nuvo-3000 series Box PCs are excellently equipped for machine vision, imaging via gigabit Ethernet, intelligent automation, building surveillance and a wide range of embedded development applications.

The dimensions of the casing are 240 × 225 × 90 mm and it weighs 4.8 kg (including a hard drive). A mounting bracket for wall installation and a CD with drivers are included in the scope of delivery.
