Spanish fast casual chain Solo Tapas begins its nationwide franchising operations

PRLog - March 18, 2014 - LOS ANGELES -- Spanish restaurant fast casual chain Solo Tapas has officially started its franchising activities nationwide with an aggressive expansion goal of 300 locations within the next 36 months. Simultaneously the firm is launching a fund to open corporate owned and managed stores within the greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas.

Solo Tapas is currently in talks with potential master franchisees in Florida, Texas, Arizona and Iowa and is in negotiations with at least one airport location in the East Coast.

Solo Tapas is known for its imported small baguette-style Spanish bread, which the firm imports from Seville, Spain. Solo Tapas offers a vast assortment of over sixty five Montados (small sandwiches with typical Spanish tapas ingredients), Mediterranean salads and Spanish charcuterie boards such as Chorizo, Jamon Serrano, Salchichon etc. The firm is currently working on plans to import its own Spanish wines.

Solo Tapas has solid vendor partnerships with Spanish bread maker PanSur and one of the major beer companies in Spain.
