Crain’s Cleveland Business Reports on Attorney Ian N Friedman’s Firm Merging with McCarthy Lebit

CLEVELAND - March 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Crain’s Cleveland Business has recently published an article on a major development that has occurred in the legal practice of Criminal Attorney Ian N. Friedman—who has joined his practice with Cleveland-based law firm McCarthy, Lebit, Crystal & Liffman Co. LPA. The online article that reported the news on March 14, 2014 is titled “Criminal defense attorney Ian Friedman merges his practice with McCarthy Lebit. Through the merger (which went into effect on March 1), Attorney Friedman now co-chairs the law firm’s criminal law practice, Crain’s Cleveland Business reported.

According to the article, this merger serves as a significant expansion of McCarthy Lebit’s criminal, white-collar, cybercrime and corporate investigation department. Robert T. Glickman, a lawyer at McCarthy Lebit who serves as the other criminal law practice co-chair, referred to Attorney Friedman in the article as an “outstanding criminal trial lawyer.” He noted that white collar crimes are very complex and require extensive manpower and legal expertise. Mr. Glickman also said he said he believed having a greater level of backup would strengthen Attorney Friedman’s ability to serve his clients.

In addition to Attorney Friedman, Kristina W. Supler and Anne Walton Keller have also joined McCarthy Lebit, according to the Crain’s Cleveland Business article.  The news story stated that it is a possibility that others from Attorney Friedman’s firm could end up joining McCarthy Lebit as well. Prior to the merger, Attorney Friedman’s law firm and McCarthy Lebit had a relationship in which they would commonly refer work to each other.
